Incentive Holidays has always believed in protecting the interest of the society in any way possible. The IH team is dedicated towards taking the initiatives in carrying out activities for the welfare of the society as a whole. We take CSR seriously and this can be highlighted by few of our CSR activities as mentioned below:

IGC Foundation at Nuwakot

Our team Bhusan Dahal and Madab Baskita lead to Nuwakot. Like before we were there with tents, blanket, noodles and beaten rice. Today’s destination was Mahakali VDC. We have informed 3 other VDC to gather there and distributed the aids.

Today we were able to serve around 75 families and 350 people. Today’s target were underprivileged people(lower cast). There is big problem of repeatation of same aid from different people as a result few are getting the same aid twice and few not even ones. So it took us time to find out needy people and give aid to those family who have not received aid. Tent is the major demand from the people. So we put all our effort to make sure we distribute to needy people.

Constructions of school buildings

Under the CSR the IGC has by now already constructed 50 school buildings in the remote and inaccessible rural areas of Nepal wherein many school children are able now to study in comfortable study rooms with newly built schools in their own locations. IGC also secured additional financial support from the Japan based Asian Friendship Network for such schemes for which it remains grateful to them for their generous cooperation to the cause of education development in Nepal’s rural populace.

Support to Maya Nepal

In 2009, IGC contributed a sum of Rs 50,000 for the support of Maya Nepal, a drug treatment and rehabilitation center in Harisidhi. Lalitpur, Kathmandu. This amount was handed over to the organization during a program organized by The Creation – Institute of Fashion Design.

Donation of NPR 500,000 to the PM Relief Fund

Many lives and property are lost because of floods every year in Nepal. Natural disasters change people’s lives and we are ready to do all we can to make their lives better, even a little. On the occasion of the 1st Anniversary of AirAsia X’s operation in Nepal, IGC contributed a donation amount of Rs 500,000 to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund to support the Flood Victims. The amount was handed over to the Fund on 26th of July 2013 at the PM’s Office in Singha Durbar.

Visit and donation program at orphanage

We started the year 2014 with a CSR Program at "New Youth Children Development Society" in Bhaktapur.. The orphanage has 50 children and is run by Asia Friendship Network. Our team from IGC went to the orphanage and spent an entire day playing and eating with the children on 4th Jan 2014 i.e. Saturday. We had collected clothes and toys from all the members of IGC and they were distributed among the children. Also, we provided lunch to the children and served them ourselves. Chocolates and biscuits were also distributed. Games were played and an art competition was held where 3 winners were given prizes.

Visit and donation program at Disabled Service Association

On 3rd July 2014, our team visited "Disabled Service Association" at Karyabinayak, Bungmati, Lalitpur marking our 2nd anniversary of AAX operations. There, we donated wheelchairs and food items to those children who have various kinds of physical and mental disabilities. Also, we contributed a sum of Rs 102,000 for the construction of a new building which will be the residence for the children and will accommodate more children who are in need. The Association is home to around 40 children - boys and girls - from various districts of Nepal. Differently-abled Children from different parts of the country have been staying at the association for education and access to better facility and opportunity. The children there are between the ages of 4 to 21 years and are blind, dumb, deaf or physically impaired.
