Day 01 – Arrival Kathmandu

Our office representative will be at the airport awaiting your arrival with our office vehicle to pick you up and transfer you to your designated hotel. After refreshing yourself, our tour executive will give you an orientation on your program. After this you are free to get familiar with your surroundings, this will help you to localize. Have supper and then get set for your first overnight in the valley of temples and cows, probably the most on earth.

Day 02: Full day Sightseeing of Kathmandu

After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour with a short drive to Pashupatinath Temple. Pashupatinath temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Shiva and is said to be the most revered shrine for Hindus in Nepal. Hereabouts, you can witness cremation rituals of Hindus at ‘Aryaghat’, the cremation area of the temple.  Our next destination is Boudhanath - the largest stupa in Nepal and a centrepoint of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu. The stupa is designed in the shape of a giant mandala (assumed to be a representation of the Buddhist cosmos). Our next stop is Bhaktapur. Spread over an area of 6.88 sq km, 12 km south-east of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur Durbar Square or Bhadgaon showcases the ancient grandiose of the Golden Age of Nepali art and architecture. Built by King Anand Dev Malla in the 9th century, the city was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. It has remained a model for heritage conservation since then. At the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you will find many fine examples of sculpture, woodcarving and pagodas dedicated to different gods and goddesses – the Nyatapol & Dattaraya Temples, the Golden Gate, Palace of 55 windows that also has marks of bullet penetrations, a tragic tale of this once-upon-a-time independent kingdom. At dusk, we return to our hotel

Day 03: Kathmandu to Kakani (1982m)

After breakfast, we get into our vehicle for a 29 kilometres cruise northwest to Kakani, a scenic village with beautiful views of the Himalayas stretching from the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges to Ganesh Himal. The landscape here is leafy, with rhododendron and oak forests on the southern slopes leading down to Balaju. We Camp overnight on a High grassy Hillock

Day 04: High Hill – Shivapuri Hill (2729m)

After breakfast, our hike today goes along green hilltops, taking us to Shivapuri, famous for its rich wildlife and wide variety of birds. This national park is a watershed that provides most of the drinking water for Kathmandu far below. We bunk out at our lodge or in tented camps, whatever we’ve chosen for the trip

Day 05: Shivapuri hill – Chisapani (2050m)

After breakfast, we hit the trail by walking even further along the hills to ‘Chisapani’, a Tamang village whose name means ‘cold water’. We crash out for the night here, with beautiful views of the mountains.

Day 06: Chisapani – Nagarkot (2175m)

It’s a lovely day today, because after breakfast we head down to Nagarkot, a popular mountain resort town famous for its fabulous views of Ganesh Himal and many other Himalayan peaks. Its Newar people are known for their artistry, and houses feature carved window frames. There are many temples and sacred statues throughout the length and breadth of the town. We do an overnight at a cosy hotel
