After an early breakfast we head to Boudhanath, a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the most important centre of Tibetan Buddhism outside Tibet. Buddhists believe that the remains of Kasyapa Buddha (Lord Buddha’s previous incarnation) were interred at the spot where the stupa is built. We also visit Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva and a protected World Heritage Site. Later we head to the medieval city of Patan and visit the old durbar square. The palace complex houses a museum, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple and Kumbeshwor Mahadev Temple.

Evening, spend an exciting time at the Casino. Try your luck at the dealing tables (Poker, Baccarat, Flush, Kitty etc) or take a spin at the Roulette table. Roll the dice to see if fortune is on your side or see if there’s a win for you at the video/electronic slotting machines.

The day is free for you to spend it the way you like. Evening you will be escorted to the casino for a night filled with enjoyable games of chance.

Day 4:  Sightseeing Bhaktapur Durbar Square & transfer to Nagarkot

Today we explore the medieval kingdom of Bhaktapur. Lying a few kilometers from Kathmandu proper, Bhaktapur is one of the valley’s medieval cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The old city is divided into three squares Taumadhi Square, Dattareya Square and Durbar Square. Each square houses ancient pagoda temples and structures from the Malla era. Nyatapole Temple, Palace of 55 Windows, Dattareya Temple, Golden Gate etc. are some of the cultural gems of this old city.

After exploring Bhaktapur, we take a scenic drive to Nagarkot, a popular weekend getaway. On reaching Nagarkot we check into our hotel and call it a day.

Nagarkot offers commanding views of the Himalayan peaks. We wake up early to catch the sunrise over the Himalayan peaks. After breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu.
