Day 1 :Arrive Kathmandu at TIA

Day 2 :Sightseeing of Kathmandu/Swayambhu& Bouddhanath 

Day 3 :Arrival Paro International airport / transfer to Thimpu (2300m) – 2 hrs. drive

Day 4 :Thimpu / Punakha (1250m.) – 3-4 hrs. drive

Day 5 :Punakha-Bumthang(250 kMS)- 6hrs drive 

Day 6 :Bumthang – Tongsa(68 KM)- 3hrs)

Day 7 :Tongsa -Paro

Day 8 :Paro - hike to Taksang (Tinger’s Nest Monastery)

Day 9 :Fly back to Kathmandu

Trip Dossier

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu at TIA

Arrive and Meet at our representative at the Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel. 
Check in hotel and brief on itinerary. Free till Dinner 
Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu/Swayambhu & Bouddhanath  

Breakfast at hotel, 
Visit to the heritage sites of Kathmandu DurbarSquare ( the house of living goddess KUMARI and the medieval royal palace of the Malla kings – 15TH century AD ) & Swayambhunath Stupa ( the oldest Buddhist Shrine much older than 2650 years from the present time, also colloquially known as Monkey Temple ). 
Free for Lunch on the way and transfer to Bouddhanath, it is the largest stupa in the Kathmandu Valley and is the center of Tibetan Buddhism for sightseeing. 
Free forDinner.  Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Arrival Paro International airport / transfer to Thimpu (2300m) – 2 hrs. drive

On arrival at the Paro airport, received by the Bhutan Mystical Tours representative andtransferred straight to Thimphu (55 KMS / 2 Hours). The modem capital town of Bhutan.Nearby Thimphu, visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom, which nowhouses the School for Buddhist studies.
Upon arrival at Thimphu, proceed for check-in at your hotel.Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Thimpu / Punakha (1250m.) – 3-4 hrs. Drive

Following buffet breakfast at the hotel. You will proceed for a sightseeing tour of ThimphuValley. Your visits will include, visit to National Library; it holds a vast collection of ancient Buddhist texts, manuscripts, modern academic books and printing blocks for prayer flags.
Painting School; famous for traditional thangka paintings.
Traditional Medicine Institute; the rich herbal medicines abundant in Kingdom is preparedhere. The institute also imparts the art of herbal medicines to be practitioners.
Memorial Chorten; the beautiful stupa built in the memory of Bhutan's third King. Thepaintings and statues inside the monument provide a deep insight into Buddhist philosophy.
TashiChhodzong; the beautiful fortress/monastery. which houses Secretariat building, King's Throne room and other government’s offices. It is also the summer residence of Chief Abbot.
Handicrafts Emporium; it displays wide assortment of beautifully hand-woven and craftedproducts.
In the afternoon, you will be driven to Punakha (75 KMS / 2.30 Hours). 
Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Punakha–Bumthang(205 KMS)- 6hrs drive 

After breakfast, visit Punakha Dzong, a massive structure built at the junction of two rivers. lt was the capital of Bhutan until 1955 and still serves as the winter residence ofthe monkbody. The first King, Ugyen Wangchuck was crowned here in 1907. The fortress haswithstood several damages from fire, earthquake and flood. The latest flood of Oct' 1994caused great damages to the fortress but miraculously spared the statue of Buddha Jojampa.
In the afternoon, you will be driven to Bumthang (205 KMS / 6 Hours). 
Upon on-arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel.
Over night at the hotel.

Day 06: Bumthang – Tongsa(68 KM)- 3Hrs drive

After breakfast explore the fascinating valley of Bumthang. After your visit, continue your drive to Punakha and upon arrival, proceed for cheek-in at your hotel.
Alter lunch, visit Kurje Lhakhang where the saint Padsambhava subdued a local demon and let his body imprint on a rock. The Jambey Lhakhang (7th century temple), Tamshing Monastery (one of the oldest monastic school), the Jakar Dzong (administrative centre of theregion) and Swiss Farm House.
Later in the afternoon, you will be driven to Tongsa (68 KMS / 3 Hours). 
Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel.Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Tongsa –Paro (260 KMS) – 7.30 hours

After breakfast walk by Tongsa Dzong built by Shabdrng in 1647 and visit the Ta Dzong(watch tower), dedicated to Buddhist epic hero. King Gesar ot` ling. Later continue your drive to Bumthang (68 KMS / 3 Hours). 29 km from Tongsa road reaches the Yotong La pass(3,400m). Further I3 km ahead, the road enters into a wide-open cultivated valley known asChumey valley.
Later you will be driven to Paro (260 KMS / 7.30 Hours). 
Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel.Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Paro - hike to Taktsang (Tinger’s Nest Monastery)

Following buffet breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken for an excursion to TaktsangMonastery. Legend says that Guru Padsambhava came here on back of a tigress and landedat this spot where the monastery was later built. This shrine was severely damaged by fire in year 1998 and now restored in its original grandeur. 
Return to the hotel after your excursion to Taktsang Monastery for buffet lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) which holds ancient religiousobjects, works of art, handcrafted objects of daily life and stuffed animals, costumes, armor and even stamps. Hike downhill from the museum to ParoRimpung Dzong, walk through the roofed bridge and board your vehicle that will be waiting near the bridge. Also visitKyichuLhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Kingdom.
Buffet dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 09: Fly back to Kathmandu 

Early morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu.  
Upon arrival meet our office representative & transfer to hotel. Check in hotel. 

Day 10: Final departure

Breakfast at hotel, Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for final departure 3 hours prior to flight time.
